The FIS corridor was buzzing during the break today as the Blue and Yellow groups got their Word Cup campaigns started. The Sunflowers and Princess△ won in the Yellow group while SAAM and S9 are on top of the Blue table. The Quizlet action was intense in room 23 as Roses and Smarty put pressure on S9 up until the last minute, but the girls from section 9 kept their cool and won their match. Well done to everyone that played today.
Round 2 starts tomorrow and there are some very important matches. In the Red group, The Snakes and Leyla's Wildez are in 1st and 2nd place. Their match in MIS-1-13 will help one of them take command of the group. In MIS-1-16 Princess Leyla and Extreme Sharks hope to build on their strong starts and move up the table. There is still enough time for Mohsen's Monsters, Pochinki, Al Ain FC and Die Borussen to make their marks as well.
In the Green Group, Lavender and Unicorn both won their first matches. They will play each other tomorrow in FIS-1-21, but good morning and MSEA may be ready to surprise them. VSS are currently in 3rd place, but they will have to work hard to stay ahead of Dream Crushers, H.K.G and deer.
